About this flyover
The site was developed by Jeff Hamm of Geoplan Consulting for the 2009 Yukon Quest 1,000 mile International Dog Sled Race. Thanks to Jim Gilpin, Geomatics Instructor, Yukon College for the GPS track and checkpoints. Trail depictions, course descriptions and all photos are ©2009 Yukon Quest.
The model Cessna aircraft was obtained from the Google 3D Warehouse, thanks to 'alex_xs'. The flyover also makes use of the importxml.js, script(s) provided for free by http://www.howtocreate.co.uk.
This flyover is a variation of the Driving Simulator, developed by Roman Nurik for Google's Google Earth plugin
This project was made possible by financial contributions from the Yukon Community Development Fund.
